La Voix de l’Est announced a few months ago that the Bromont velodrome had won the Builder’s Prize, as part of the World of Concrete summit, in Las Vegas, dedicated to concrete infrastructures across the globe. Partner of the velodrome, the concrete formwork specialist Nudura had submitted the project to ICF Builder Magazine, which presented the prize during the international event bringing together more than 60,000 industry professionals.
Among the competition criteria, judges “assessed complexity, creativity, site challenges and media exposure.”
This is an achievement that is the envy of everyone, but above all one that is the pride of the entire community in the Bromont region.
The mega project, with a budget of $18 million, took place over 64 weeks. The 40,000 square feet of concrete formwork alone took 150 days of work. St-Pierre & Associés was mandated on the project via its cost consulting department.
The Vélodrome construction project was therefore able to count on an experienced team who ensured the smooth running of the project by being the preferred intermediary between the financial institution and the promoter. One more achievement that we are pleased to share, because the success of our customers makes our success.
